Very difficult choice, I opt for W - less evil of the two.
Two different flavors of ice cream.
The one that plays better to your ears in your environment. Both are amazing
But which is better in your opinion and why ?
When are "we" going to mature as audiophiles to move past such silly questions? Do you mean prefer, because depending on the "system", including the room, what one prefers can change based on the other components in the system. Both are amazing
But which is better in your opinion and why ?
+1There for, in my opinion, the better loudspeaker will be the one that will sound better for your ears in your room.
Did you give up the M3's for Rockports? If so, what compelled you to do so?A practical answer: I had this choice to make a few years ago and I chose Magico M3's. They did not require a complex set up procedure and there was a local dealer who could deliver them and set them up for me. I knew that whichever choice I made I would be happy and I was right.

Second system?!?! You MUST be my audio hero. I'm still a fledgling novice as I work on my first audio system.I gave up the M3's to pursue headphone nirvana. After a long trip down that rabbit hole, I decided I liked two channel conventional audio better. I wanted something different than the M3's and chose Rockports. The Orion's are no worse or better than the M3's, just different in a good way. I love that sound so much I just placed an order for the new Lynx for my second system.
