why a DIY power cables don’t sound good enough?
I made a few power cables …Neotech, Furutech,Acrolink …with the best plugs
what the difference between a DIY cable and an assembly cable from the company

I can give you a cable to make diy and not expensive and let us know .
use a 4 conductor so core 12 gauge is good
Then use the white and black together for one power and the green and red for the other .
Now use a separate ground wire not inside the power cord
10 gauge is fine use stranded and if you can find a fine strand wires for the ground wire . This makes it less stiff.
Just tie rap the ground to the so cord
You can place all wires in each male and female body connector
the point is the ground wire is no longer inside the so cord being effected by the EMF of the current flow .
If you need help on picking out the so cord I'll post link
SO cord is the same as SJ cord but a thicker jacket and more turns of the conductors inside the black exterior insulation
cheap and post results
The most expensive parts you one already
One last part I forgot to mention the dielectric of SJ cord is 300 volts
SO cord is 600 volts
