Oh, that brings back a memory.
About ten years ago I found out that my neighbor had a big collection of Depeche Mode records.
Original albums, picture discs, 12" and others,
All of them collected since his youth, he's about 54 years old today.
I asked if he had a record player, but no.
I thought he could bring some records over to my place so he could listen.
But... no, the records were unplayed and only for collecting.
Time passed and a couple of years ago I asked about the collection.
It was sold, I was told.
-Ahhh, did you get paid well?
-500 euros...
-Okay, how many records were there?
-About 150-200, copies included
-Who bought it?
-A second-hand record dealer.
-You have realized that you were deceived ?
-I know and I regret I sold it.
But I've started collecting again.
I gave him one of my duplicates and he became a little happier.
We all learn from our mistakes I guess ...
