What's Spinning Tonight?

Still digging through my catalog... How come one never gets tired of albums like this?

What a gift that it is so. And with excellent fidelity despite the age. Who said digital was not good in its early years?

This the VERTIGO 314558658-2 CD?

If so, it's HDCD encoded ... that said, not certain, in this case, if peak-extend was used (therefore requiring the decoder).

I don't have the CD handy to check. But my DAC decodes HDCD so later on today I will check.

Spooled this beauty that just came into the deck, reclined my seat, closed my eyes and listened:

Wish it lasted a few hours!

Again catching up from earlier, Fugees', The Score:

Rap/Hip-hop with class :). Great mix of different styles of music re-performed in this style.

Master of Puppets has been living in my truck cd player for the last two weeks. Listen to it twice a day in its entirety.
Not a bad track on it.

A lot of people complain about the mix on And Justice For All. I freekin love it!!!
To me it's the perfect metal album, actually you could just remove all the music and just have the kick drums and I would be good.
It also is a bit relaxed in the midrange compared to alot of other metal and that is pleasing to me.
Go ahead, see if your woofers can handle the assault.

Seems to me, another use for it would be to supercharge your engine with all the energy it has. :D
