What is the prettiest loudspeaker?

I agree. The grills came off after the first week!

Thats a shame , I rather like the look of them with the grill in place , gives them an Art Deco vibe , Is there a perceivable enhancement in sound quality sans the grills ?

I think this one is really pretty in its simplicity.
Big speaker sound 25 hz - 25khz in a small package
Look like NHT speakers i had in the bedroom 25 years ago, side-firing woofers and everything ! ;) IMG_4383.png

Speakers look ok .
But whats up with the faulty speaker wiring?
Did you spraypaint the speakers together with the wall in one go ?
Bought those speakers for all the right reasons, the color matched the bed ! :p

When I saw this, my first thought was that it had a lot of visual similarity to the Lorenzo Loudspeaker shown in the next post. I then discovered that not only are both Audionostrum and Lorenzo Spanish speaker companies, but Josep Gallart is the CEO and chief designer of Audionostrum as well as one of the key designers (or principal?) of Lorenzo loudspeakers.
Not to take this thread OT, but it would be nice to know more about Mr. Gallart and his role in both companies as well as similarities/differences between the speakers he designed for both. On another thread, of course,
Hi Marty, I just remembered your post and wanted to say your investigative skills are great, I´m spanish and I didn´t know that. I did a bit of research myself and it turns out Miguel Lorenzo Castro, owner of Lorenzo Audiolabs is also the founder and co-owner of Kroma Audio another spanish high end speaker manufacturer
https://kromaatelier.com/ and Hifi Live, a spanish online audio magazine. I think the Kroma Atelier Reference Line are all good looking speakers but their prices are extremely high, 483.000€ for the top of the line Maribel is eye watering.

For me it’s always been, is and probably will be Nautilus from B&W followed by Goldmund Apologue/Prana whatever with that design

I have to mention the ugliest I owned. A month after I got married in 1981, my wife permitted me to upgrade speakers. Self powered tube yet, the Acoustat X speakers. 1759265508806.png 1759265533435.png
They stood about 4 feet high. They had nothing but bass when standing/non-existent vertical dispersion.

My wife was mortified that I brought a pair of coffins into the living room. I sold them a month later, replaced by Acoustat 1+1s, which she really liked.

Questioning if pretty is the correct adjective?
Attractive is possibly more appropriate!
But anyway....
The sonus faber amatis in glossy grey did not pass the wife test and were quickly exchanged for some massive aluminium krell modularis that did pass the test!
But to use pretty, I would choose an avant garde trio with a colour matched horn to my interior. I also find the Boenicke speakers pretty. But number one on my pretty list would have to be these little Horas.
No idea how they sound and if pretty and fantastic sound quality equate?

The effort (construction) and the sound are the best I've heard and seen in the last 10 years. If only I had 80k:(

I owned those speakers! Loved them! I used them with ENTEC subwoofers. I had the amps modified by the tech at Jonas Miller Audio in LA. Sounded wonderful but man, the smell of ozone coming from those amps was something else. I am so glad I don't currently have a brain tumor (that I know about) !!

Acoustats were a great seller back in the day and sounded great, in the range they could play, I owned a few different models including X, 4 and 2+2. Yet they failed and went out of business ..oh well

I had Acoustat Monitor 4 and Klipch corner horn with JBL LE15A as sub locrossed with JC Symmetry active crossover at 55.....subamp Leak TL12 and source Cotter B1 Denon version with FR66Fx in B60 and Linn Karma
Spatial Coherence TVA 1 preamp
very fun system, that could play loud and very dynamic
