HiFi Shark is a search engine for all audio sites, including Audiogon, but stay away from dodgy sites like Africa, and some Eastern European sites. Get the seller to post/send a pic with the equipment and a piece of paper with your name and date on it to reduce scams.
usaudiomart maybe. I still use audiogon because I have feedback built up and trust other user feedback ratings. It’s been a good site and so far I have not seen any other sites as sophisticated for transaction security
I have used both Audiogon and U.S. AudioMart with satisfactory results. I have also ordered online from the dealer, Reno Hi-Fi, more than once with good results.
I believe Wilson sells factory refurbished models kind of like Certified Pre-owned cars. You may be a able to call Wilson and they could direct you to a dealer that has what you are looking for. Good Luck!
Provided you follow the rules of due diligence it is usually safe to buy on the established sites. I have done so successfully on a number of occasions from both dealers and individuals in the UK, Europe and the USA. There have, however, been a few instances where I didn't proceed because the responses didn't add up.
