What do you think of this video

What do you think of this video. And this is not directed to those who think every mobile phone video is trash, thanks. Please listen to the end for the brass and the woodwinds

This post: SME 3012R, van den Hul Master Signature, Lamm LL1.1 linestage

If you want to compare. to the one above, you'll need to volume adjust this one. My apologies for poor gain match.
Never been a fan of SME arms but could be another variable that makes me more engaged listening to the #512 rig.

Thanks. The older one seems to have more weight and more balanced

I looked at my notes for the older one and saw it was made one year ago, not two years. That tells me the cartridge was the Aidas Mammoth Gold on the 3012R, not the Fuuga on the 4Point. That explains the earlier video's greater weight and better balance vs the vdH Mstr Sig. The Gold does not have quite the top end filigree of the Master Sig whose balance is a bit more toward the highs., but it (the Gold) is better balanced with stronger bass.

The first version impressed me most, it’s hard to adjust the volume at our side.
To change the vibe here is my 2 nd system (2+1 setup) and old, good cd;)

I like the video with 4Point and Fuuga. It’s more relaxed with better tone of instruments and better balance of cymbals. The other one with SME sounds a little bit tipped up and congested in comparison.

So, the above system is the Tune Audio Anima, that belongs to manisandher, and is being run with a 1200 GBP First Watt amp and biamped with another SS amp that drives the 15 inch bass woofer firing into the floor. Since the two amps have different gains, Mani uses Roon DRC to correct for this and we were streaming Tidal through Phasure dac but with the Phasure software disabled, Roon s/w being used.

The system plays exactly as Mani wants to. He wants nothing offensive, no clutter in the room, stream easily whatever music he wants. I thought the brass and woodwinds were terrific, the Anima midbass with the biamping really gets very good oomph, and the timbre of instruments is very organic. DRCed tidal violin will never sound as good as LP violin, but the suspension of disbelief works in person.
I heard a Tune Audio Anima system in a dedicated room at the “Listener” bar in Paris. I found it enjoyeable, but it lacked a bit of nuance, refinement.

I like this better than your previous ones. What do you think in room? Which model of SF is this?
This is the new SF Amati Supreme. It is the total opposite of my Alexia V. The Alexia V got lots of slam and dynamic, this is more refined and musical with really good midrange. My dealer gave me a brand new pair to try for a couple of weeks, so still breaking in.

You should record that Bill Evans track again to see if the difference is obvious in a video :)

This is sounding great. First two movements of Scheherazade on speaker plus integrated amp = 15k approx, plus Garrard 301. Costly things in the chain are mainly phasemation T2000 SUT and Ypsilon phono

It is a very good recording - I just played the digital version from Qobuz and it sounds great.

Or this one (slightly higher volume):
