I'm working my way through a large stack of mono Ravi Shankar recordings from the 1960s (inherited from my brother, an amateur sitar player), which gives me an excuse to exercise my new mono cartridge. I've just finished this one:

This is a beautiful and dramatic violin concerto. At some 47 minutes long, I wonder how often it gets played in concert.

I live under a rock. It's only taken me 10 years to discover Ensemble HD Live at The Happy Dog.

This album was recorded live in a Cleveland bar and holds up.
PS it is available on vinyl as well as a digital download.
