Nominal 6 and 8 ohms, but what are the deepest dips on both?

Woofer 7ohms at 200hz - rest is above. It is actively driven with 500 watts in my system but can be given 2400 watts if you really wanted to go mad.

AER is flat other than in the lowest register where the impedance increases (not decreases) a lot. Of no consequence to me though since it is very well below the horn crossover.

Take home message - easy to drive hence why I can use 1.25 watts on it.

Can I ask what amp do you use to drive the woofer?

It is a British designed mosfet class AB amplifier. Functionality includes phase adjustment from 0-180, high level and low level input, custom designed (adjustable) crossover for my application, and level.

Best.

Do you have a cap on the driver to roll off the LF, or does the horn take care of that?

I remain amazed by this. YGs, Alsyvoxs etc require suitcase-sized crossovers needing two men to lift them (or is that their wives Lol)...this horn doesn't even need a crossover the size of your hand.

Well, to be fair, that huge horn is doing both amplifier and crossover duties (just like the subwoofer amps!), and it does appear to be quite large...

God, if I still lived in the States a pair of BD4s would be on the way to my house right now. I would hate my job, but still...

What a great project Bill! As you can tell, I'm a complete convert. Perhaps I'll get lucky and find a decent paying remote position this winter.

Made up the Neutrik dc cables today and received the linear supplies. Just ran some tests just now and with 12 volts the force is such that a spoon would pull the entire 17kg mass along the desktop o_O
