Tidal vía wi fi

Hi from Argentina, to listen to tidal via wi fi on the pc / audio system is it better 2.4 or 5.8? thanks in advance

2.4 ghz is purportedly better.
And ethernet better than wifi.

2.4GHz wifi offer longer range. But if you see a lot of neighbors’ wifi, then 5GHz wifi tends to have less interference. You can use the free version of inSSIDer for PC or NetSpot for Mac to check to see how much wifi interference you’re getting.
in general, I find 5GHz to be much more reliable for most people because of the wifi interference issue, even if you notice the signal is weaker on 5GHz.

Another option is buying a wifi extender or mesh system, and connect to that with an ethernet cable.

If you plan to use tidal on wifi
muse a software to see what Chanel’s are busy in your system as well as those around you.
This leads to best sound
once you see a channel with low usage make this for tidal

I have a 1000Mbps connection with a WiFi6 modem/router and use only one SSID with band steering enabled.
Living in a detached house and using WiFi only I am happy so far with this setting.

I have streamed using wifi.
Really enjoyed it, using Tidal.

Wifi injects a little more noise into the audio chain.
If you can't connect your stereo via ethernet cable, using a wifi extender or mesh system and then ethernet cable plugged into either of those is an alternative, reducing some of the noise/improving the sound.

Glad you said that as I've just purchased some new cat 6 up cables and a pair of Ethernet to fibre media converters to ensure a clean digital signal straight to my network transport.
