With most theaters still being closed and the movie industry suffering, what few movies that get made seemed to be streamed on Netflix or HBO Max etc

How the Academy Awards will go this year is beyond my imagination as there has been so few good movies

Well finally I can say that this film is in my top 3 (the other 2 to be determined )

I remember the riots at the DNC meeting in Chicago in 1968 and the trial that ensued after the riot. Those were tumultuous times. In fact watching this movie had great significance for me as it reminded me of present day USA

Putting all of the political rhetoric aside this is a must watch movie, coming in at 2 hours and 10 minutes

A surprisingly good rportrayal of Abby Hoffman by Sasha Baron Cohen and Tom Haydn by Eddie Redmayne

There probably aren't many of us here who remember the Aug 1968 Chicago riots and the ensuing trial

Great cameo roles for all of the political figures played in the movie

As I said, when it comes to movies there have been few if any that have been in any way good. This event in time was truly historic and the movie is very true to the story

One of my cousins was somehow involved with the Chicago Seven and their activities. It cost my uncle a pretty penny in legal fees to keep him out of jail in the day. I think he did some time, anyway, but I don't know any details beyond that.

reminded me of present day USA

All around the world Steve ... I enjoyed it as well though pretty sobering... It bought back a lot of memories .... It was hard to believe it was happening at the time
