I have been a Springsteen fan for as long as I can remember so my wife and I saw this film yesterday. I must admit that I wasn't expecting much but was I mistaken. The film is based on fact and a real person who has not only seen Springsteen perform over 150 times but The Boss and he are friends and the Boss has even met his parents so the rolling credits at the end have some terrific photos .The film takes place in the early 1980's
The movie started slow but I must admit that as the story evolved iI was pretty involved in the story and at the end I truly enjoyed this movie. It'll make you smile leaving the theater. I expected a Bollywood type film but in the end it was just a fun and feel good movie and definitely recommended
Has an overall MRQE score of 74% which is very decent
