No Turbo lag ;).
Fastest Petrol/ hybrid car in comparison to Tesla Plaid

The thing all hybrid sports cars have is that they don't have their advertised performance. You can see that in dyno videos on YouTube. If I could choose a Ferrari, it would be an 812 Superfast with a Novitec F1 exhaust. Imagine you're having a bad day and you get into the 812. I swear, after 10 minutes, you'll have the biggest grin in the world. There's nothing in the car world that evokes as much emotion as this Ferrari. You're driving a beautiful street-legal F1 car.
P.S
the best part in 10 years it will be worth five times as much, because then you won't be allowed to drive something like that anymore;)

My Maserati actually dynos higher than published spec. Spec is 370 and it makes around 410.

In germany / autobahn , yes .
The rest of europe / USA speeding tickets usually arrive 1 - 2 weeks later.

In west belgium / west vlaanderen you actually get a Tax cut with the SF 90 because its a hybrid
You don't have to drive fast, just drive along the country road. Every downshift is like eargasym. You won't be able to stop grinning. I promise. The only thing that can happen is that the transmission breaks from all the shifting.:p:cool:

There are always exceptions to the rule. BMW performs very well on the dyno.

If you want fast acceleration, drive at 9ff, not far from you. These are cars, as Walter Röhrl said: "If you're afraid to unlock the car, then you know it's fast."

And here's the car I am in love with now—Stealth performance at its best and far cooler than the AMG 63 Mercedes wagon. Audi RS6 Avant!

1) 1960 International Scout. Taught me that I am immortal. ;)

2) 1968 Impala SS square back. Great for camping. Two teenagers could literally sleep in the trunk, it was so big. And, if it started raining, I'd just close the lid.

3) 1972 Fiat Spyder in Canary Yellow. Taught me how good small Advents could sound propped in that tiny little "back seat."

4) 1976 Camaro that my Winston Cup buddy helped me put in a bad ass motor and suspension from his 'leftovers.' Taught me to love A/D/S 300 speakers mounted on the rear deck.

5) 1989 Maxima. I liked the built in Bose stereo - it could capture Nine Inch Nails pretty well.

6) Various purchased or leased cars of no special distinction. I learned nothing.

7) 1997 BMW 335i 's' with the chip and exhaust mod. The stereo was aces (fantastic and tight bass, no less!) It could go fast, and handled really well. I had a loooong commute for several years - Chico, CA to Las Vegas each Thursday night after work, then back on Sunday...the car was just a dream. I even liked the way closing the door sounded, and its engine just purred. Later to be stolen by my wife, then my son! (My first car with Sirius made the commute much better than 250 miles of Harold Camping.)

8) 2015 VW Golf R, then traded for a 2017 Golf R...the 2017 was blue and has a better stereo. Love this car. Went through APR for some performance mods and it's a great stealth car. Got it to around 400 HP. It's very much like this...

Whatever I wanna do, it just says, "I can do that!" It's my daily driver.

9) 2014 F-150 that my wife uses for work, but it rides like a freaking car!

10) My wife has a 2015 Audi S4 that we also let APR have its way with. It's a prefect sedan. My wife fretted the mods, thinking it would become a wheel spinner, but it's more like it lost 1500 pounds and wants to party. Good car. Has a B&O branded stereo that can bang!

I have a soft spot for Maseratis, the mc stradale especially

Yes, a 3200 GT from 2000. Apparently, they downrated the HP so that it didn't produce more on paper than the Ferrari 360, because Ferrari had just taken over Maserati around that time. I also had a 430 4V (2.8L TT V6) in the past...one of only 290 or so made. So, I really like the Bi-turbos and the 3200GT was the last of the bi-turbos, using a Shamal derived engine.

I am contemplating a Grecale Trofeo as my next daily driver to replace my Porsche Macan. The Porsche is fine but doesn't have much drama...perhaps why it made such a good daily driver... Would love the new GranTurismo but at least for now they are too pricey. I think my ultimate dream car though is the MC20, which I think looks better than any Ferrari or McClaren and is more than quick enough (see the CarWow video where it handily beats a Porsche GT3 RS in a straight line at least) ...plus I love all the turbo noises (chuffing and waste gate exhaust etc.) it makes.

The speedrecord today

To these jaded eyes Maseratis are just cooler than Ferraris and 911s, not trying nearly so hard and appealing to those who appreciate understated brutality. My ex's father had one, it sounded terrific and went very well. Unfortunately the build quality left a little to be desired, although i understand that's significantly better now.

The problems I have had with the car were all due to it being 25 years old...otherwise it is solid.

Yawn...like Nietsche said "without engine roar life would be a mistake" ... ;)
Unfortunately, it can't be stopped now. Give the Chinese another five years and no one will talk about Tesla anymore. The sleeping giant has awakened...
Tesla Plaid was yesterday. There are now about 10 cars that are faster and have more range. Guess where they come from. Exsample

P.S
SU7 start price 28k€ 300kw power /600km range buyable november 2024
SU7 ultra 109k€ 1198 kw power

When I said "Yawn", I meant all electric cars. I have never been a Tesla or any other electric car enthusiast.

morri, I've had my Grecale Trofeo for more than 2 years. It has been flawless and only been to dealer for the 2 annual services. The engine is sublime and after break-in, is a blazing 530HP (523 in US) beast, with so much personality. The air suspension is very flexible with 4 choices, and in Corsa mode, the car is dynamic and very fun to drive.

You can visit https://www.grecaleforum.com/ to find many former Macan owners who are quite pleased with the move to the Grecale Trofeo.

Then take good care of your car. The EU plans to ban new cars with combustion engines starting in 2035. This is only permitted if the combustion engine is used solely for charging the battery. Classic cars over 30 years old get H license plates in Germany, and they're still allowed to be driven. You can be sure that spare parts for combustion engines won't be available from 2035 onwards. This is how you can easily ensure that only electric cars are on the roads.
