TechDAS Air Force Zero (real final photo)

There is nothing that has been posted here that my wife wouldn't just call us knuckledraggers and just walk off laughing at us carrying on...but then again she DOES have a fantastic sense of humor. One of the thousands of reasons I keep her around.

And to add I would never post anything that I would be worried about her reading, this included. She often reads this forum as we sit in bed in the evenings winding down and or I am always showing her our stupidity.

Life is to short to live in a twist!

Back to absurdly priced audio equipment and the knuckle draggers that pay for it!

Good to see another audiophile and partner with a sense of humour.

I am still trying to figure out which high-end audio guys are are sexist, vaguely adult autistic, a**h***s, as I have not found any here

cheers

Fairway people. Fairway! You included Ron. It is a AFZero thread and you guys have been hitting balls into deep rough and fairway adjacent. Try a least to be in the first tier rough.
Dont respond back. Just think Fairway.

XV, you're REALLY not getting out enough. Or should I say, staying in. That's where our weird breed is mainly to be found.
FWIW, the classic car crowd are even further-fetched than us.

I was looking at this beast again. I'm sorta surprised at the price and a wow&flutter that isn't any better than a bunch of old TT's from the 60's and 70's. I'd have thought that would be somewhere they could improve on for such a price.

However, I did notice the age of the crowd in this photo...

Making fun of age could result in a 7 days suspension from WBF.

If you are in your fifties, you’re considered young in this group and was certainly the youngest folk in the Air Force Zero launch event.

I suppose when your vision and hearing decline, you need bigger speakers and larger turntable to have the same enjoyment compared to the young. Kind of make sense to me.

Japanese culture is very open on a person age. They introduce themselves with their age, like: Hi, my name is Thomas, I am 58.

Being old is considered an honour. Nishikawa san is 77, he mentions I often.

Funny indeed, with just a fraction of cost I have less than 3% wow and below 0.9% vibrations too!
