Swiss Digital Fuse Box Anyone?

Adaptors have been discussed at length. Anywhere from $9 to $700. Now, where those discussions are? They are lost somewhere within multiple discussions.

Heck, it could even be within this discussion, however multiple pages back.

From what I can see, It looks like the Infinity fuse box will also need either a pigtail or an adaptor to use with a component. I also don't see an option for this on the website when I last checked yesterday. Can anyone confirm that the Infinity fuse box does indeed require either a pigtail or an adaptor for connection to a component, and if so, is an adaptor on the way soon?
I AM CONFIRMING - Infinity Fuse works just like SDFB wherein you need a Sluggo to plug into the gear you are using this with AND either cables or Adaptors

The difference is this - Infinity Fuse is User Programmable and does NOT HAVE a Micro Processor or any associated components necessary to PROGRAM Manually as used with Swiss Digital Fuse Box.

Thanks - Mark

Videos would definitely help your customers to decipher the differences between differing products.

For example - I am still struggling to know the difference between your infinity fuse and the SDFB (if any, other than outer box design/size). I take it that one is user adjustable and the SDFB is factory set? Or am I way off on this?

Clearing the air and explaining things in a very precise way (without disclosing proprietary information) can help clear up some of the confusion, that I honestly think is holding some of your sales back.

See reply to Tuffy

I've said we will do instructional videos. Not much more to add. We will do them.

They both use the basic topology - the major complaint after 1811 units sold of SDFB is/was - "wish I could set it myself"

Now you can -

For me - the big issue revolves around reaching a greater audience and keeping hold (as best as we can) to this segment.

We introduced these products with a 25% off discount - this lowers the number to $295 in a world where SDFB will HAVE TO GO UP to manage the Tariff bite and Aluminum adder. Maybe 595 before you know it.

We are right where we want to be.

This applies to Line Noise Black Hold (probably the most consequential product we have ever made in our 6 year history) as well as Snub Station Zero too.

Priced Humanely and actually work as described.

Thanks - Mark

PS - reviews are already out there - Peer Review too on our site - we appreciate all of you.

The Piggys are under SDFB and Clean Power Conditioners. Go back over this thread earlier this year for better alternatives to Piggys, plus just in the past week about the adapters coming from Vera-Fi.

@Tuffy7 - I went through the thread and created this list for you. This is the most comprehensive list that I know of for SDFB pig-tail options to date.

Vera-Fi has 3 or 4 different adapters. https://verafiaudiollc.com/collections/all (Just contact them for the pig tail alternatives or pig tails themself.

Amazon- https://www.amazon.com/CGTime-Stand...C13/dp/B07HRJKGFD/ref=pd_ci_mcx_pspc_dp_2_i_4

From our friends at Snake River Audio, there are 2 choices.
Takshaka - https://snakeriveraudio.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=5&products_id=297 - Note - Use the drop down and select 8" for the pig tail.
Signature AMP Series - https://snakeriveraudio.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=5&products_id=38Note - Use the drop down and select 8" for the pig tail.

From our friends at Audio Sensibility, there is also a SDFB AC connector. This is available as a simple connector, and it's also offered at a 1' length. https://audiosensibility.com/blog/a.../ac-adapters/#!/SDFB-AC-Connector/p/726442470

2 from our friends at Reichelt for differing countries/connectors other than US. (Some of the others have this as an option as well )

From feedback that I have read so far on this and other forums, the Amazon and one from HD (not linked ) are very restrictive and may very well really thwart the benefits the SDFB actually gives you. The AS pig tails seem to be well regarded, same with the Reichelt. There are mixed reviews coming with Vera-Fi pig tail options alone and he just came out with 3 more options to be considered. While I have no direct experience with any of those, I got the Snake River Audio Takshaka 8" Pig tail for my SDFB MAX and I can say with full confidence that there are NO restrictions with that one. Hope this list helps you with your choice.

I can add to Tom's list. Alex at WyWires made 14" Diamond ($600) and 12" Platinum ($250) power cords for the SDFB on request. I've also found the Audio Sensibility Gold plated "SFDB AC Connector" to be very good (and a big improvement over the Amazon's), although I prefer the WW a little. The Snake River Takshaka is excellent if one likes neutral voicing.
