I think you should listen to world class amps if you want to hear what is possible. Not knocking Luxman, but it’s not in the same league as this amp, or Nagra/Kondo Japan/etc.

Budget beginners high end Luxman is what I think you might be saying.
I think the £20K price of the Lux combo I use from time to time is quite expensive for the period.
In total complete honesty I think my 1975 Accuphase M-60 monos trump them for sound quality.
And my 211 monos do better again,.with limitations on volume level. But to be quite frank, they do OK on that.
I might have been listening, going to shows, holding bake offs, going to hi-fi shoes in a few different counties and evaluating what I personally need to satisfy my craving for decent sound for 47 years.
That's not long enough. I need another 1,000,000 years.
