It has been nearly a month that I received my new Rivo Plus streamer from Vinshine Audio. The Rivo is powered by my HDPlex 300 linear power supply. It is an incredible streamer which has bested the following streamers in order of descending quality: Denafrips Arcas, Lumin U2 Mini/SBooster PS and Denafrips Arce streamer.
Altough I really liked the sound of my Denafrips Arcas, it had some unresolved intermittent network disconnect, which Denafrips did acknowledge, but never resolved after a year of ownership! Alvin made me a sweet deal on the Rivo Plus, for all the issues I have gone through with the Arcas, even if Vinshine was no longer a Denafrips distributor.
I was a little sceptical about the Rivo being competitive sound wise with the Arcas, since the Rivo Plus is less expensive than the Arcas. The Rivo just bested the Arcas on the low level details. The rest of audio criterias were very competitive. So the Rivo Plus is such a great deal for what it brings to the table!
