Rhapsody.Audio would like to announce that within the next 3-4 months there will be multiple new locations where several of the product lines that Rhapsody.Audio represents will be available to audition via Rhapsody.Audio Listening Rooms (RLRs).

Hi Don, sorry not currently. We did have a location in Chicago but Jerry, who was the principal passed away about three or four months ago now. I believe we are going to have a location in Cleveland very soon, but they will not have the Alsyvox because we’ve stretched out the 6+ months lead time at this point with the backlog of orders.

The closest available location at a customer that would be happy to demonstrate the Alsyvox speakers is DOUSMAN WI. This customer has Botticelli X.

Hello,

Thank you for your reply. I am so very sorry to learn of the passing of Jerry. My heart goes out to his family, friends and all the people he had touched throughout his life.

Out of curiosity, do you happen to know which electronics he is using in his audio system with the Botticelli X?

Thanks again,
Don

Thank you. Yes Jerry was a really great guy.

This customer currently is using the Westminster electronics. He might have some other electronics there as well I would have to check.

Don, the client in Dousman, is a wonderful gentleman, Bob and I know well. Besides the Alsyvox loudspeakers, the system consists of:

- WestminsterLab Quest pre-amplifier
- WestminsterLab Class A monoblocks (amplifier set A)
- Trafomatic Pandora tube monoblocs (Amplifier set B)
- Lampizator Posidean DAC
- Taiko Extreme server running Roon
- MasterBuilt cables
- Folgenhaus rack

It should be a worthwhile experience since you have options, including tube and solid-state presentations, in a very well-treated, excellent-sounding room. IMO, well worth the 90-minute drive from Chicagoland.

If Don and his set up are anything like Bob Vineyard in the Portland, Oregon area, then from my experiences with Rhapsody, the visit will be well worth it. So go for it!

Looks like an amazing system in a room that will allow the music to sing :)
Thank you for sharing this with us.

Best wishes,
Don

Rhapsody.Audio presents the new Rhapsody.Audio Cleveland location. John DiFiore is the principal and is in process of building a SOTA new listening room which will be 24' X 35' X 12.5'.. In the meantime John has his Magico M9s playing nicely.

A complete description of John's plans for the new location can be found in this link-

While everyone has an opinion about everything, the one thing we will not discuss publicly is WBF policy. There are many things that make this forum work for all forum members who love music, sharing ideas and the gear associated with such. The tentacles of this octopus are far reaching and most of you will never know just how far they reach, nor the impact of each tentacle.

WBF Moderators have no involvement of any kind with advertising fees, advertisers, or their sub-forums, including what decisions are made when one elects to not renew. Furthermore, we have no involvement in decisions regarding post deletions, and related topics for advertisers and sponsors.

That said, the moderating team is here to try our best to guide and direct this forum into being the best it can be. Not only now, but decades in to the future. We cannot read every post (given the sheer volume of the forum) and we cannot respond to every inquiry. That said, what has been relayed to everyone here has been taken into consideration. We truly respect everyone's perspective.

That said, this thread will be closed. The input will be discussed, evaluated and brought to the folks that yield these decisions. Just not on the public front. Thanks to those who have offered their input. It has all been greatly appreciated. Our goal is to have a friendly place where everyone shares ideas and information without the level of bickering and angst that other forums tend to produce.

We get all your feedback and thank you all for your comments. We need to keep content on WBF genuine and helpful, advice and real owner experiences, not sales led and commission led.

Bob Visintainer is a good dealer, and is not one of the ones who look to game the system. Please bear with us, and we will respond later today or Monday with a plan.

All, there have been many, many posts that were in this thread that have been soft deleted (still visible by the moderating team) for future consideration and user feedback. They are no longer visible to the public, so that this thread can continue on with the spirit of the thread's subject, that being Rhapsody's Audio Listening Rooms.

We thank everyone for their feedback, changes have been made, as @admin1959 has pointed out.

Now that we are back on topic, let's please get back to the original discussion, and talk about all of these wonderful systems. Thank you.
