Repositioning my setup in the living room yield tremendous results

I don't have a dedicated room either. There are some tricks that we can do though. Damping the TV reflection, bookshelves in key areas, carpets, buying your wife jewellery...
The painting is on a roller track hung from the ceiling. It pushes to either side and exposes the TV. I have 1" of compressed fiber insulation on the back of the frame against the canvas. I can hear if the painting is pushed to the side. It does have a sonic impact. 20220802_093051.jpg

Oh, I love it! Wonderful solution. I was thinking about making a 2D acoustic panel that would be placed on the TV. Super light, made with closed cell foam and velvet on the screen side.
