Orchestral Music System Videos - Symphonic or Tone Poems, etc.

Tim,
You know this one well. I ran out and got the pressing after listening to your post of it.

Great stuff Van, many thanks for all those videos.

Here is Shostakovich Cello Concerto NO.1 on Vinyl - Cadenza and a little more :)

Please excuse the sirens from the emergency responders driving by in the early part of the video.

Best wishes,
Don

That part from around 6th minute onwards sounds great.

TY Peter,
My DST replica serial number 18 is getting thru customs as we speak.

It will be interesting to see if it transforms your system as much as it did Peter’s. After a few days of setting it up please record these tracks with it.

Are the current ones recorded with the Zyx universe optimum?

Also your signature states the Wilson Alexx. Do you still have that, and can you record with that?

Yes, these recordings are with ZYX. I have the fabulous VDH on the second arm. ZYX is more neutral to my ear.
I ran my Alexx’s with Lamm M1.2 to great satisfaction. Then MicroSeiki became available and I fell into a vortex of a full line upgrade culminating in TAD’s. Alexx are relegated to my closet for now. I am a horder of sorts. I did run both speakers comparatively for a short while. They are not in the same league.
