I was friends with drummer Bill Teague once upon a time.
This band was special.
Tenor player Jimmy Sherrod, bless him, is brilliant.

That was really fine MRubey. It’s not often I hear jazz that draws me in so quickly. What a shame this music by the Joe Charles Collective appears to be impossible to find. Thanks for the nice videos.
