I know a lot of us audio owners who would benefit from carefully listening thru this video. Many thanks, Gregadd

Thanks, but no front wall treatment, no bass traps at front wall?
Watch the video. He had his room setup. Took everything out and recoreded music and measured the room empty. Then added basic furniture, a rug etc. played the same recording and measured. Next -- add absorbtion and repeat. Next -- add diffusion and repeat.

For some this is obvious but for others they may appreciate the demonstration of what adding some acoustic treatment does to the sound.

Thanks but no watch the video?

Ron has take on one of the biggest vlog projects ever by making and entire building and documenting it and deconstructing it and putting it back together for everyone to get the experience of what every thing can do. He has plenty of front wall treatment but he's taking everyone on the ride for hearing the differences the whole way.

He's as serious as it gets among the video people, and way more respectable than most.

I did Ron's train track speaker positioning method a few years back. Where you have each speaker between 1/4 and 1/3 of the way from the sidewall. There was a point where you could find almost holographic imaging, which was lost or found by moving the speakers millimetres.

After much laborious effort and getting it right, I ripped up all the tape off my carpet. Then 6 months later purchased a new TV, going from 55" curved to 65 flatscreen, completely destroying all that work with speaker positioning. Don't have the heart to do it again anytime soon, but it made a huge difference and I recommend Ron's methods.

See above, I hadn't watched the entire video. And great to hear your perspective on him.
