Munich video thread 2025

In the flesh that worked well. Moly AN 211s in the amps seem OK.

Unfortunately the audio did nothing for me in this video. However it is good kit heard it many times over many years.

I wouldn't aspire to own it, but hey.

2 minutes of Vyger not playing a record. LOL. I just went for the material rather than the medium. Had he had played this track much louder I am sure it would have changed the faces of many in the room.

Is a competition thread for people who shoot the best mobile phone videos.

Please also some of the western electric/GiP room and if you can compare the Thomas Schlick turntable on video to another table or digital
The name is Thomas Schick. Meaning of Schlick is mud, slick, but Schick means smart and fancy. You chose ..

All speakers have flaws but this new Vyger is good. It can be lightning quick for a dynamic speaker. No idea of price but it's not going to be cheap. If you value clarity, speed and what appears to be excellent tracking to the input signal these are definitely up there. They aren't going to flatter anything, though. Be warned.

He voiced the speaker using digital, to make it sonically suitable for many. He did have his TT in his speaker room as he did not want that to influence his speaker design

Those of you attending the show, I recommend visiting the Silbatone room at 18:00 (show closing time), Daniel Kim from AnalogTechnik plays his range of cartridges (mono/stereo) with beautiful (real) music tracks. Sounds sublime.

Biggest dynamic/volume blast of the day was definitely this.

I got them to play Finger by Younger Brother but made the big mistake of not recording it. Did an outstanding job on it

300K for the speakers you see playing.

I hated YG for many years but last year and also this year I find myself impressed.

If you're into clubbing and wealthy then this system won't let you down.

Here's a better video of the Silbatone room:

That's the video I shot but a lot longer. It's better than mine. Well done I like your style. You managed to get Joe Roberts speaking which is cool. Getting the kit in the video is always a good idea because basically the sound will never be like being in the room.

Had a good long chat with Joe today:) Weapons of mass entertainment is a good line;)

Seriously, though, antiquated technology, a very rolled off frequency response, huge horn flares and wide baffles can do a lot. This system sounds supremely natural with the right source.

You'll never really hear high treble in a Silbatone room. Until they prove me wrong one year. But they shouldn't.This system should be taken for what it is.

I am not the author of the video!
