Is a competition thread for people who shoot the best mobile phone videos.

Please also some of the western electric/GiP room and if you can compare the Thomas Schick turntable on video to another table or digital

I'll do you a WE room viddy for old times sake.

Must be in a good mood tonight;)

A few please. You are the first video master

Another video recording of the Silbatone room.

Should I be impressed? Again, sounds colored to me, at least as presented in the video.

No video is going to give you the ease, detail, and dynamics of the big 90 years old Silbatone speakers. You have to hear them in person. I only heard classical, and I’m not a classical guy in general, but closest to a symphony reproduction I’ve ever heard. Did I mention the tone?

Amazing!

Nice to see you finally accepting YouTube vids can offer value but I agree with you in this case the capture is awful, the Junkie changed his phone a while back and his content just sounds bad, shame...

Well, I added the caveat, "at least as presented in the video", so the question is how much value videos really offer, at least in many or most cases.

Perhaps -- to some extent -- videos are like shows: Ignore the data point if the sound is mediocre or bad, take note when the sound is good. I do wonder though about certain colorations in horn videos like these, if I should ignore them or not.

For my part I think that some of the very best audio vid coverage of Munich was made by this guy :
