Missed that one, sorry.

That was something different…this was not the same as a couple of years ago.I listened to the big old WE horns a couple of years ago
So its best of show and worst of show.Yes, and despite the big scale and good dynamics it sounded shouty and screechy. Anything other than a big classical work sounded rather comical. Tonality…well not really.

You get a hint of that in the video.Yes, and despite the big scale and good dynamics it sounded shouty and screechy. Anything other than a big classical work sounded rather comical. Tonality…well not really.
I was in the room three out of four days and heard it with a variety of music. Trust me, I wanted to love it because it is cool and ambitious. Their model the Crane also sounds very good. You get a hint of that in the video.
Not worst…just definitely not the best.So its best of show and worst of show.
The biggest drawback I see with this company is that they will have most probably next year in Vienna a complete new system which is maybe less expensive and so on the following years. So quite a bad investment. I have no trust in this company. And I dislike these battery of active amps. Compare this to the simplicity of the Silbatone approach, no contest. Not worst…just definitely not the best.
I assume this company sells very few systems with very high margins to people who probably won't ever listen to them. The biggest drawback I see with this company is that they will have next year in Vienna a complete new system which is maybe less expensive and so on the following years. IIRC, J Sikora turntable and tonearm, Aidas cartridge and CH phono.Which analogue components were used?
So funny. Disliking a company for advancing technologies and lowering prices. And people wonder why a DAC is $350,000.The biggest drawback I see with this company is that they will have most probably next year in Vienna a complete new system which is maybe less expensive and so on the following years. I think so…but this year was not the same as this one.
I followed this company (and others with a similar approach) over the years since their first appearance at High End Munich. So funny. Disliking a company for advancing technologies and lowering prices. And people wonder why a DAC is $350,000.
Yes, I think OJAS is a little bit overhypedHas anyone visited this space?

My guess, also considering the front end: light-footed, mid bass centered (kick without fundament) with a fairly pronounced horn signature.
Back online. The video seems to have been removed. I hope they will upload another version without copyright issues. I did not go through it all, but it was interesting to watch.
