I am trying out Mono records since two weeks and i think i am gonna like it a lot, but i am short of Mono records ,please post the Mono pressings that you know Classical, Jazz,World Music, Rock.... that are recorded and pressed amazing! I need specific pressings year, label, country pressed....

The Mono pressings that i purchased, are mostly bad sounding, some of them sounds unbelievable dynamic and natural (even better as Stereo) i am searching more of those.....

All inputs will be appreciated very much thanks in advance :) !

Acoustic Sounds did a set of 25 jazz records on the Prestige label in mono. They sound fantastic. While you can no longer purchase them as a set, some of them are still available: Prestige Mono.

Classical is more hit and miss on mono recordings. Some of the RCA's in mono are good, some of the dowel rod Angel series in mono are also good. Finding a good copy is getting harder.

So many pre-1960 jazz. Too many to list here. But jazdoc has given you a ton. As for newer mono pressings, I would definitely check out the mono version of the recent Tone Poet (Bluenote) reissue of John Coltrane's "Blue Train". Also Speakerscorner reissue of Chet Baker's "Chet is Back!".

There is one Decca classical mono set on Acoustic Sounds. I don't have it, nor do I play many mono recordings. But the artists and performances are all top notch. Decca classical mono
If you are so inclined, The Electric Recording Company does mono (as well as stereo) jazz and classical reissues. That is, if you can respond quickly enough to get one. Electric Recording Company

Second the Beatles mono.
I have an original Sgt Peppers English mono.
Playing side 2 was like I’d never heard the record before.
Good hunting.
