The MoFi One Step of Sketches of Spain is being shipped.
33rpm, 180g
1/4” /15 ips a log master to DSD 64 to analog console to lathe.

I’m hoping for the One Step magic without the MoFi eq shenanigans.

Great....let us know your impressions. I've been ignoring most of the new MoFi 1-Steps, just not a fan of paying $150 for a digital mastered album. Especially if it has the MoFi Eq malarky going on....but this is a great record, so maybe for me.
The AP UHQRs have been much mo betta for me so far.....all analog to boot.

Enjoy, I have the 6 Eye Columbia 33 rpm.
Fantastic album

It arrived yesterday. It is my third version of this amazing album. I have the Columbia Legacy cd which is okay but it’s a cd. Then I have the 2012 Sony/Columbia mono. This is a very well done pressing. The MoFi is an altogether different sound. More vivid, more expansive, more separation. It is well done subtle stereo. Very quiet. No overzealous eq issues.
It’s beautiful. I’m glad I bought it.

I got deeper into it this evening. I played the UHQR KOB first to get my head into the right place. The One Step Sketches Of Spain is the perfect record to show off the Haniwa cartridge. There are layers upon layers which this mastering and pressing express in holographic intimate detail and clarity. The Haniwa slices it open like a piece of ripe fruit with delicious juices running all over the place.
Yes, its very good.
