In another thread regarding elimination of viruses, malware etc from computers there are posts (mine included) that a Mac just doesn't get infected, presumably due to the much larger world wide use of Pc's over a Mac. Having said that however I am interested by way of this poll whether your computers have ever been infected

Mac always wins this one, Steve, but time is running out. It's time for all of us to think about virus protection software...

I agree Tim

I am surprised that no one has even mentioned our cell phones.

I'm a Mac user and I've been hit. I now avoid Limewire and any P2P site like the plague.

So far so good, apple/mac user since the 1980s (and PC user in parallel for most of that). The processing slowdown of PC antivirus drove me nuts and on my home machines, though I run Win7 under parallels, I have not installed virus software. But then, I use the PC portion to run very specific programs and do nothing else with that portion viz the outside world. Just wait till there is a virus of Android or iPhone, that would be a disaster.
