I got the Sound + Vision April/May 2011 issue, and on page 68 there is a review of these speakers.
They retail for only $888 each!

And here's the final score by Geoffrey Morrison (out of 10):

Design: 9
Performance: 11 (wow!)
Value: 10
Overall: 10

* After reading that review and being familiar with Sound & Vision Mag, I shoud admit that I was somehow suspicious of such a rave review!
Then lightning struck! ...What if Sound + Vision has totally lost their touch (as often they did in the past) with reality? Perhaps now it's time to say goodbye to them, as well their awful forums, which by the way is in total disarray, and that since the very beginning!

And in the same issue, on page 64, there is also a review (by the Canadian Daniel Kumin) on the Anthem MRX 700 A/V Receiver with a $1,999 retail price.

Here's the final score (again, out of 10):

Features: 7
Performance: 9
Value: 6
Overall: 7.3

Now for the people who don't know, Anthem is a Canadian company! And their new line of receivers (first ever) are designed in Canada but manufactured in China!

Anyone here interested to know more about the MRX 700; it's main attributes and genuine handicaps, plus some published Lab Tests?
It is quite somethin' else I can assure you, plus the reviewer is at lost here a few times! Radically!

Anyway for the people having this mag issue in their hands, you will understand what I'm saying regarding these two products above!
And for the ones who like to find out more, you'll have to ask me!
But know this though; I will tell it just the way it is, as viewed by my own eyes!

Have a great weekend everyone, :)
Bob
