I'm new to the audiophile world, so please excuse the dumb question. I'm looking to purchase desktop speakers for the new computer I'll be getting (IMac). I'm looking for speakers that will be at least as loud as the speakers in my old IMac (a 2020 27 inch IMac). According to online the 2020 IMac has an SPL of 13, but there is no output wattage listed. On the other hand, the speakers that I'm considering list output wattage but not SPL. Two speakers I'm considering are AudioEngine A2+ (60 watts) and Edifier R1850DB (70 watts). Can you please tell me if these speakers can go louder than my 2020 IMac speakers or not (and if possible roughly how much louder or softer).

Thanks!

yes they get louder but one can't assume loudness without factoring compression and also you're better off with the Edifier MR3 or if you can swing it, a pair of Kali LP-UNFs in Black or White
