Good point. The way my room’s set up (I may have a picture of my system posted here), it’s on the left half of a 30’ wide room, so I really only have a front corner on the left side… the right wall’s 14-15 feet away. I was thinking of attaching the right-hand ones to the front and back walls at about the same distance away from the system as the ones in the left-hand ones, and hoping for the best. That seems to be working okay for Zuman ;-)
There really isn't a right or wrong way to add them to a room. Every space is unique. Key is to have fun experimenting with different combinations & location until it sounds right to you.
You guys have made me very curious. I think I may try a set of 4.
I have Clarisys Planar speakers that are about 6 feet out from the front wall, any suggestions as to placement of the HS?

Thank you MacF for the kind words.
Your advice about HS placement sounds like a very good starting point.
We'll see if I can get a set soon.
Thank you,

Start with one in each corner behind speakers and one on each side wall halfway between speaker and listening position. Ideal height would be approximately 80% of wall height, assuming you have 8’-10’ ceilings.
Thank you fbhifi for that info.
With the Clarisys speakers, I removed all of my room treatments. So, I will see (hear) how these work with my room.
I hope to get the set this week.
Their effect is undeniable & appealing to me at least. You just have to try them in your listening space to understand what some of the early users have been saying all along. And you're supporting a small female owned business. Holostages are more effective than my Synergistic Research FEQ Carbon & on a par with my LessLoss 10x Power Base. They play well with LL gear. They're powerful little buggers!

Yes, I'm annoyed and embarrassed that I bought a set of four Holostages yet I can't figure out how they work. However, I am now definitely at the point at which I am happier listening to music with the Holostages in position than with them removed from the room. I have also arrived at a set of locations for them that delivers the effect I want (elevated and extended fore/aft soundstage) better than other placements I've tried.
I'm now going to try to just enjoy them without worrying about why they work, trusting that an answer will emerge at some point. And if it's a placebo effect, it's a damn enjoyable one!

I feel your pain , you and I are in the same boat. I really am surprised by these gizmos. May drill a hole in one for giggles to see what is in this sealed box with fake screws in it.
So, I just received my 4 units. And I have started to experiment with placement. Again, the speakers are the Clarisys Planar Minute. They are about 53" tall maybe 3 feet wide and are about 5-6 feet from the front wall.
I did purchase the shelves mentioned in this thread, but I am not ready to stick anything against the wall.

Ozzy, I certainly feel the corners of front wall about speaker height would be a good place to start. My listening position is up against the rear wall, so I placed a holo along left & right walls same height as your front pair with excellent results. If you have space behind your listening position, a pair behind you near the corners & same height as front pair will help to envelop the listening position. They will continue to improve over next few days. MacF

I have to admit not being able to understand the instructions for mounting those shelves. So I switched to nanotape, which was a big mistake. When I took it off, the paint and spackling came with it.
