Welcome Acetrip,

Where to begin? Hmmm

Well I kinda like the quality of the bass on the top spec sheet, taut, agile, almost stygian like!

But the lower spec sheet has a real sense of flow, that beguiling midrange and the natural portrayal of timbre and presence is quite special, and then there’s all that air up top... it’s actually hard to choose between the two specs really and either way speakers are the most personal of choices... and then to make things even harder you’ve got two very different fonts going on here as well. But in the end the only important thing with measurements is that you’re happy really.

Soooo... any pics???

Just joking dude... welcome to the forum, not sure anyone is going to be able to tell you much from your op but just thought I’d say hi anyways.

It is hard to say since few of either sets of specs is informative.
Old System: 30 watt (music) without any distortion value says nothing. Similarly, frequency response of the speakers is specified with a tolerance (-10dB or -16dB) but both are so wide that they say nothing useful about frequency response.
New Speakers: Power output (presumably of internal amplifiers ) is 21w but again without any distortion values offered. One can say the same about the frequency response.
The only real difference I can see is that the speakers in the Old System are powered by an external amplifier and the New Speakers seem to have their amps built into them. That makes me wonder if you intend to use them in the same way and be concerned that you may not be able to do so. If you can, the only way to compare them is with your own eyes and ears and decide what you like.
