A client passed away early this year. His wife is looking to sell most everything. As you can see there are MMThrees along with a pair of REL 212MX subs in front and another pair of similar subs in the rear. He listened to the BAT REX 3 amps once before he passed. I heard the system with his Audio Pax Maggiore (flagship) monoblocks which are stored in another room.

Bummer. A friend's family was not able to get rid of his gear. Its weird. Family wants you to be a charity. Buyers want a fire sale. Family has no understanding at all how to box up and ship. Friend's say they will help. Eventually reality sets in for everyone as the gear sits for months, then years.

Brian,

considering the size and weight of the speakers it might be helpful to say the general region this gear is located in, and that you have all the crates for shipping. logistics will really effect who is a candidate and so whether to pursue it.

good luck and best wishes something works out. great speakers. i owned the first ever pair of these.....had them for 7 years. now i have the big brothers. powered active adjustable bass with sealed cabinets so easy to locate anywhere in a room, very room tunable. they have a big sound but also nuanced. the ceramic mids and tweeter are perfectly integrated.

Agreed, this is why I got involved. Fortunately he kept most packaging.

Call the Music Room and get it over with.

Give Ed Sudario @ The Audio Association in L.A. a call. He has a banner ad above. He took over Jonathan Tinn’s business. Jonathan and Kevin Malmgren were Evolution Acoustics.

Ed is great guy and sold my MM3 EXACTs for me. They went all the way to Sweden! All seven crates- 2000+ lbs.
