Pure Low GR -- Infrasonic Panel

I was searching for info about the WB Torus and found this fascinating thread. Anywhere to hear the Pure Low in the NY tri state area or South Florida?

Hi Todd,

Did you ever have a occasion to experiment using the Pure Low in place of the basshorns?

Unfortunately not yet. I have been busy and the Danville DSP has neen problematic.

Thanks for keeping us posted...most intrigued. Your work has been remarkable to read, and I can say it has certainly advanced my own thinking around our desire for the next step to be an expansion of the sub-40hz performance here.

Pity, I'm also VERY interested in that outcome.

Also a little update. After repeated struggles trying to get the Danville DSP Nexus to work I gave up on it. I don't mean getting it to work with the Pure Low. I mean getting it to actually work and do something. So, I reached out to Trinnov and have an Amethyst on the way. This should allow me all the control I need to integrate the Pure Low with the Tio. I will try an prioritize this work after the Munich show.

Looking forward to reading all about it! Thanks for the update...a lot of hard work!

Hello,
This discussion about the PureLow is interesting. I also saw Cedric's message. I'm the person who has had PureLows for 10 years... well, it will be 10 years in February 2026. They are great models and I'm very happy with them. Since I paired them with stacked Quad57s, I don't ask too many questions about my equipment. Maybe the constraints of the room. This is the third house I've occupied with them and the sound is different each time... I'm going to, on the advice of Patrick Marchandot who makes PureLows, probably invest in a Trinnov. I'll tell you...
