Holostages - critical review

I apologize for the off-topic reply, but my personal experience with GoDaddy for my first Audio Café LLC website was so unpleasant* I recommend avoiding GoDaddy.

* I paid for their slightly custom service and the website was still very clunky and archaic looking and feeling. It is difficult to contact a live telephone representative for help. Once the website is published there is no way to edit anything on the website yourself. You have to sign up for a monthly assistance agreement in order to edit anything on the website, because you have to pay them to change anything. The only time you can get a telephone representative quickly is if you select "add services" on their automated phone menu. Everything was expensive, and I found the service inefficient and poor. I think they use foreign call centers, at least in part, and I always find them to be an exercise in frustration.

GoDaddy has had lots of legal and security problems over the years. I assume these cheap website creation platforms have to make money somehow. GoDaddy milked it, and ran with it, and is stilling running into problems.

Ron, I have never used it, back when I started Carbotex Composites I used an IBM platform that was $25.00 a month and included my Domain and 2TB of space on the IBM E-Com severs. Just saying 10 year old kids are building e-commerce sites.

Just curious, how much is it to use GoDaddy?
Like I told Ron when I stated my company I used an IBM e-comm platform. Not sure on G-Daddy, but there are 10 year old kids building e-comm sites...there are also other avenues as I stated in a previous post.

And still making $$$$$$

Thx for clarifying and offering advice on Go Daddy and other websites. I have absolutely no financial interest in Heartsound, but I would love to help Krissy in any way that I can. She can keep her prices low because she operates as a one-person business. Her heart is in product development and finding innovative ways to enhance your music experience. She does not have dealers or distributors, which would again drive up the cost of her products. She knows her website needs updating, and being on WBF, USAudio, or Audiogon all cost money. She does not have the margins of a normal audio company.

As I mentioned earlier, if you are interested in Heartsound products, please contact Krissy.

Now we can get back to people commenting on their experiences with Holostage or the Grounding Box.

Thank you!!!!!

Yep sure can.

Wondering if anyone here has the HS Ground Box and can compare it to the Puritan City? Or if anyone is using in concert with another grounding system and what was the result?

An exciting day for me today. I just received my order from Krissy for 8 Holostages, 2 "wall warts" and the Electrical panel device. I am now ready to start earning my HoloSound Merit badges. Krissy could not be a more SWEET person! My packaged arrived very fast, and packed with loving care..I think her long time customers know what I mean. Besides the great info in the previous pages of this blog, any other experience or advise in placement's is surely appreciated. full disclosures: I am now "Pup-Daddy" to a 13 week old Yellow Lab, so my free time ain't so free anymore...so I will be taking a lot more time to be able to listen and putz around with the Holo-Stages, but I am super excited to get started!
Thanks to all the HoloSound users here that have endorsed Krissy's products. I was a long term fan of Tim Mrock's Perfect Path products as well, so I'm confident of the lineage here. Thanks! Timmy

Good discussion going on about the GB.

I have a Puritan City connected to a Route Master, which is connected to a Vinshine Tai Hang. When I first installed my GB I connected it to the Tai Hang and was a little underwhelmed. Then I ran a line from the Route Master to the GB and that made a huge difference. I haven't tried a different location, because it sounds so good where it's at. So both Puritan and the GB are connected together and both are connected to the Tai Hang = Magic.

LOL, make sure your pup does not try to eat the holostage. Have fun placing them on components and then various areas in your listening room. I have the grounding box and the fuse box. Enjoy

Are folks using these on components? I read through the whole thread and I vaguely remember a post saying Krissy recommends not using it on components.

I use headphones, not speakers, but I'm intrigued by these. Wondering if I'll get the full effect. I also run everything off battery power in my system.

I recently installed 4 Holostages and after numerous back and forth emails with Krissy (she’s amazing, makes you fell like you’re her only customer) she implored me to add one or two over the transformers of my Audio Note Oto. Of course she was correct…. Increased clarity and micro detail and lowered background noise. Very impressed.
BTW, I’ve owned Stein Harmonizers and numerous Blue diamonds and Suns for many years. I thought they were very effective in my system at the time. The Holostages take those somewhat similar effects to a whole new level for 1/3 of the price.

I have the ground box connected to my Torus AVR, with only my 2 RELs running from the Torus. The Torus is plugged into a dedicate line that is shared with my main system. I immediately got much "tighter bass" from the RELs, "deeper base" and more of it. Unexpectedly, I was able to lower the volume and adjust the crossover on the RELs to better blend with my horn speakers. That little ground box is the real deal.

Did I read somewhere that a member doubled the ground wire connection between the ground box and their power conditioner, and literally got twice the benefit?

Nice to hear from you. I want to tell eveyone who likes your devices that,at least for me, the Lotus RCA ground is far and away the most powerful Heart Sound box I have tried and I think I have them all!

Does anyone using Kristy’s ground box have feedback on using silver versus copper ground wire? Thank you in advance.

Tremendous synergy alert. I found that a footer under a Holostage is a clear plus. Had 2 Lotus boxes on $600 Carbide Audio footers (very good in general) and I put a Stack Audio $55 footer under the Lotus and over the Carbide and then Stack footers under 2 Holostage speaker wire connected Holostage boxes on top of my amp. Literally the best upgrade ever: PRAT beyond all experience other than live as well as solidity of image and tone and even more so sustain and decay that I have only heard live. Total shock. Ordered 8 more. I have 2 more Holostages on top of my loudspeakers (wired to binding psots) I can only imagine what the Stacks will do in this position. I had put Stacks under my DC blocker and they were a real but "normal" degree better than the Synergistic footers they replaced (at 1/6 the price) but nothing like with the Holostages. The Stacks have some sort of sand like substance (?titanium) under the top plate- it must do something in concert with the brew in the Holostage. Transformational and pretty cheap.
