When it comes to cabling you want lowest capacitance and shielded ( which raises capacitance ). Pro cables at least document what you are dealing with ;). Gotham, Klotz, Belden ..

Maybe some other cables sound better but you wont know why.

I’m sort of interested in specific EMIA- related experience
I’ve tried Bent Audio SUT and it was noisier than my current Ypsilon

@Maril555 I have an EMIA 1:20 SUT (silver) and there is no hum. The cables from the SUT to the phonostage were also provided by Dave. If you're in the USA, you should be able to get an SUT (to match your cart) and cable for a free trial. That's the route I went about getting my SUT.
