It is not often that top class turntables in a very high price league are combined with tonearms that equally reflect this quality. Here I would like to show an example, for a convinced YES!
Dereneville Linear Tracking arm, "Made in Germany", Kuzma tonearm for the IKEDA mono system and as phonostage the AS Phonolab from Audiospecials, also "Made in Germany".

Somehow I can sit back and relax at the sight of it. ;)

AF2 always looks nice, but with this linear tracking tonearm the design becomes even more unique and engineering driven.

thanx for sharing the pictures.

To me the Dereneville arm is the only high-priced arm where you really see where the money went, and its cheap compared to some arms o_O

How many carts are in rotation on the Dereneville? Curious if it favors low compliance? Meanwhile pic shows Soundsmith so maybe medium compliance...

What also stood out was this complete silence in the long pauses in the sound of contemplative classical music, which only unfold their magic through a delicate triangle.
The Dereneville arm was connected via the balanced input of the AS Phonolab 1.5, which explains the complete absence of noise. In a word. Dynamics.
