OIf you are a headphone guy you can now a taste of that dcs magic. For $32k you get amp\dac\clock. do not know if it supports electrostatic headphones. Available at Heasphones.com

Is this better than the Bartók Apex with headphone amp? That’s I think $22k? Is this maybe supposed to be the ultimate headphone setup?

While the Lina is probably "better" than the Bartok Apex .. I ended up going with a Rossini Apex and a Feliks Audio Tube headphone amp. Sounds awsome!

The amp in the Lina is better than in Bartok Apex, not even close. Not sure how they compare on the DAC side.

Bartok Apex will be better sounding as a DAC than the Lina, but the separate Lina headphone amp will be better than the one in the Bartok HP.

What about the Lina DAC + Lina Clock? Can the Bartok use an external clock?
I recently read that the Lina Clock is electrically heated to maintain a constant temperature -- pretty cool.

Yes, Bartok can use a clock too. You could use a Lina clock on a Bartok or a Rossini clock (or Vivaldi). Adding the clock does improve the DACs. Not everyone is as sensitive to the change though. It can be subtle, but most users tend to notice very quickly when they try to take it out or if it's accidentally not engaged.
