I reported that RMAF a lot of speakers/rooms sounded bright. That was not the case at all at CES. Most systems sounded warm and pleasant. One exception unfortunately was Nola which yet again sounded bright.

Touching the upper frame demonstrated massive amount of vibrations. Those thin members just can't support the speakers mounted to that section of the speaker.

Maybe he should treat it like another driver and apply a signal to it.

NOLA did the worst rendition of one of my test tracks I've ever heard 2-3 years ago at RMAF. Bela Fleck "A Moment So Close" from the album Live at the Quick... guy running the room turned it off and gave me a dirty look. :)

Alas I have not heard any of NOLAS latest designs. It is my general experience while cabinet resonances caused by low frequencies are tactile, mid to high frqencies are not.

Put your hand on a clock radio grill and it will vibrate.

Will do. My clock radio is single driver operating full range. I get nothing from my two way minis.
