I have the classic amp now, so if you heard muddy bass, it's a room set up issue or something else. My guess anyway.

JV said this system is the best Wilson system he's ever heard at a show - that says something consider it was based on the diminutive Sabrina. Nagra gear clearly did some of the heavy lifting as well

My dealer told me those caps are a special run from mundorf...just for his HD amp. So possibly best from the best.

That HD amp is ~80k. My Classic is ~15k.

I wonder how Classics run in mono would sound?
30k to 80k seems to be too big a jump to make sense unless Nagra doesn't want to sell many HD amps...60k would make more sense.

My dealer has a classic...so he plans to bring it over soon to try it in mono's...pretty sure it'll be even better. Will send you a private note on the dealer...
