Hello, Bob from Cerious Technologies. We are a COMPOSITE conductor cable manufacturer. Meaning that yes we do use Silver Ribbons in our cables, specifically in the - negatives of cables - combined with Copper, Silver wire of multiple gauges and conductor shapes, Graphene and our own proprietary Liquid ceramic. Would we use Silver ribbons in all conductors (+ and -) solely as a conductor? No. The science of composites is to combine materials utilizing the BEST Qualities of each material and combine them in a way that minimalizes the negative qualities of each, resulting in a finished product that surpasses the sum of the parts. You cannot properly terminate Graphene into a connector, so we use pure Silver as a backbone that serves as an interface that will be robust and sonically invisible (at least as close as we can get).We use Silver because it has the lowest resistance (Still outpaced by Graphene) and complements the Sonic elements of Graphene, which is unequaled Transparency. We use Pure Silver connectors for our interconnect and low level cables, as we have found that terminating identical materials together results in the purest connections. In our speaker cables and power cords we use connectors of high purity copper that is DIRECTLY Gold plated. For these high power cords we have an additional backbone of copper that we use as the termination interface to connectors. Before the final termination we strip off the plating on the inside of the connector so we get a pure copper to copper connection. I, of course, agree that an in home trial is best and we offer 100% Money back if not delighted. This is easy for us because we never have a piece of Graphene Lumniscate come back (return rate less than 0.02%...that is 1 in every 500 sold...).
