I'm an owner of the Audionet Max amps and have the matching Pre G2 on the way. Thoughts from owners or those that know on the preferred connectivity? Single ended versus balanced? I understand that from the pre to the amps there's an op amp or components in line in the mono blocks that make single ended preferred to the amps, which is how I have it connected now. How about from the source? Thanks in advance for any feedback.

Congrats on the awesome preamp. I think you are going to be surprised at how open and dynamic the sound is going to become. (Unless you have already heard it in your system) You are correct that AudioNet clearly prefers single ended connections. I would go single ended from pre to amp. As such I would also just use single ended from the DAC to the Pre.

Thanks Todd, I haven't heard it in my system as of yet.

Also, thanks for the additional feedback, but unfortunately I don't speak French and the translate won't work on this page :)

I think the moderators need to delete the post that is in French. it is some kind of medical data for Viagra. here is a crude translation from the first paragraph:

The moderators can delete this post as well.

Maybe they're trying to sell us the French version of Viagra - Le Pole!

It is well known that Audionet gear sounds best connected single ended. We have extensive experience with the MAXs and would concur with that assessment.
