Forgive me, I have recently been introduced to audio through a friend...

I appreciate I am not getting the most out of my vinyls (Cair Paravel, Caedmon etc) simply by playing them on my shop-bought system.
I would like help putting together an ideal setup that handles the delicate vocal ranges and quiet passages of folk and accoustic musics.

most of my collection is from the 70s on vinyl

my budget is £2000.
from this i would like amp, speakers turtable and cartridge.

is it at all do-able?

Help from someone both into folk and audio would be much appreciated.
