Something to look at. Some while ago I had been considering grounding the Airblades. This would appear to be the solution to that.
it enhances the already superb dispersion of the Blades , with lesser distortion, fuller highs without shout ... even with the band going at full tilt. Downtick in cosmetics with the two bars peeking out the back , but am willing to overlook that, for the substantial gains achieved.
Also to mention, I noticed a settling in period, so give it some time to come good. Similar to the ground boxes when first attached.
Have the MixMax on my speakers as well with similar results. An audition if possible should be considered. Good luck

Spent a couple of hours yesterday at the owner of a fascinating system.
Reimyo transport and dac, Koda preamp, Wavac 300B amp, Carfrae Big Horns utilizing AER BD7 full range drivers...and Airblades.
Arthur, the owner of Arya Audio, put me onto this fellow.
This system ticked a lot of my boxes, hugely dynamic (effects of single driver/zero crossover/extreme high efficiency topology), much better bass than the similar Pnoes horns I've heard, and very lush.
So, a warm sound that energized and filled the room, plus dynamic shifts on a dime very reminiscent of live unamplified music.

Onto the Airblades. First, I would never have thought speakers like this would benefit, from what I gather, the BD drivers are hugely extended and fast.
But I was proved wrong as a simple a/b of the Airblades in and out of the system absolutely proved their worth, nothing subtle here.
Where I was also proved wrong was guessing where the Airblades would truly be of worth.
So in my system, most of the benefit with my Zus is higher up in the frequency range.
With these Carfrae horns using SOTA full range drivers, the main benefits seemed evident in the upper mids...there was more substance in the meat of the music, and a certain calm and smoothness was present, but at zero compromise to dynamics and speed.
Effectively, the system drew less attention to itself while being wholly improved.
Somewhat of a double take for me as my guess would have been these BD7s would not have lacked anything in this respect.
The last fun aspect of the session was doing an a/b of grounding the Airblades with a Tripoint Troy (they have dedicated ground posts for this purpose).
And the result was clear, a much sweeter natural presentation with the Tripoint plugged in.
This owner has kindly lent me this Tripoint to try on my Airblades at home, of which I've already done a little testing, and finding it's effects here absolutely fascinating.

So, always great fun to hear well put together systems that tick boxes on musical and organic listening experiences, this one no exception.
And then to again be easily shown how fantastic the Airblades are, especially in a system that unlike mine is pretty much as advanced as one can get in so many respects, with so few discernable weaknesses.
For the Airblades to not only work, but work far in excess of what one would discern or expect them to, is yet another reason I'm so glad I went down this route myself.

Just when I was giving up on grounding the Blades, amd thought was done!!! Nice feedback nonetheless . After a while the Blades seemingly unobtrusive.... until switched off ... an audition is very highly recommended
I'm getting excellent results at home as well re grounding them with the Tripoint.
