US dollars, or Canadian loonies?
...Seems to be very cheap for all the benefits that it can provide no?

* Myles, just purchase one, play with it, and share with us your results. :b

Looks like the only thing you can't do with it is measure NC levels.

I put a calibrated mic in the minijack port of my iPad, and use Signalscope Pro. Analyzer from DSPmobile is also handy for a quick look at the system/room.

Completely agree I knew someone that had to smuggle the Ivie into Carnegy Hall back in the day, he's been thrown out before.

I use the Studio Six & jL Audio on mine but
Have no idea how accurate they are its a far cry from the big lighted Ivie of those days size. Wonder if Ivie is still around?

I've got an older Goldline. Nice unit in its day :)

I have the Ivie IE-33 - it's a fabulous instrument with a calibrated mic. Unfortunately, it's based on a Compaq 5550 PocketPC and mine is long in the tooth and not holding a charge anymore.

Interesting you can access the battery? It prob could be found & replaced
