Wow! 2 Extremes for 2 systems! I think for me with two serious systems my eyes would be constantly glazed over, I may be wandering around these country roads naked and confused! On a serious note you guys have done a great job building my excitement for the arrival of the Extreme! My current streaming is dialed in. Its very good. I average 5 hours a day listening, maybe more. Mephisto/Pandora/DV2/NS1/Custom Opti-Link cable/M12/ LPS/2 Rel Carbon Specials/Joseph Audio Pearl 20/20's, well thought out dedicated circuits and cabling. Roon/Tidal/Qobuz/several Tb of well recorded music. Some from master recordings. If the Extreme does what I think it will do and what you all have shared. I will be utterly ecstatic!! John
John, my estimation is you will fall in love with your system all over again. The Extreme does something to digital music that, in my opinion, grounds it, anchors it, gives it this solid foundation we yearn/strive for in many other components.
Swedish distributor Audio Concept demonstrated the German Physiks Borderland Mk IV loudspeakers last weekend at the Jönköping HiFi and Musicfest. The system comprised:
Karan Acoustics Master preamplifier
Karan Acoustics Master stereo power amplifier Taiko Audio SGM Extreme music server

The photos were taken in Audio Concept's room last weekend at the Jönköping HiFi and Musicfest event.
When seeking to learn to be a more patient person I am presented with situations where I must surrender or go mad. Thank you Taiko Team for fostering my psycho/spiritual growth!

A friend sent this to me this morning. I rarely read this guys blogs but he does have a following. As is usual with Extreme critics he apparently has never actually listened to one and has nothing to say about it's sonic benefits except, of course, they can't be real.
Just read his blog. He kind of blows up his own premise when he quotes Oscar Wilde: "Nowadays people know the price of everything and the value of nothing"
@Surge1 the milled-out swirled channel is facing down. The round copper platform portion of the feet go into the milled-out circular location on the bottom. Good pics here:

Thanks guys! What a great Forum this is.
Started with a Daiza under my Nagra Tube DAC (replacing Stillpoints Ultra Mini). First impressions is the soundstage is more focused with clearer separation of instruments; but also not quite as wide (although depth has increased). Also noticeable is that a solo cello sounds “smaller”, which is more realistic.
Does that make sense?
