Schreier was an excellent tenor and he has a strong association to Mozart's music. I chose the album above because he was the conductor. Margaret Price is top-notch. The Leipzig choir is clear in their enunciation. There are sections where, imo, the orchestra could be a bit more forceful. It's a fine choice tto go in a collection of Requiems, though perhaps not my first if I could have only one. Also consider Bohm and Marriner. I can't seem to find a copy of Szell (video) on vinyl.
