Great setup and welcome to the forum. If you ever get bored with the ease of digital, a nice vinyl rig would sound mighty fine in that system. Beautiful home too.

Someone has excellent taste in more things than audio! :D Welcome aboard. That is an exquisite home you live in and of course, wonderful gear to surround yourself with.

Thanks guys!

I had the Boulder electronics before getting the MM3's.
Since there are 1000watt digital sub-amps in each speaker, the Boulder 1060 amp never works up a sweat powering the midrange/tweeter modules.
The sound is very transparent and the speakers just about disappear despite their size (650lbs. each).
And that bass is the most solid, gut-wrenching sound I have ever heard in a speaker system.

I am an architect/business owner and have always been fond of contemporary residential design.
Found this house on the market and had to make it happen.

The rack is a Billy Bags Pro-33.

Excellent work my friend. I'd take the house without the stereo. Welcome to WBF.

Hi HJ -
Of course the Boulder 1012 is a work of art in design and materials - I just love it.
Really like the DA/Preamp performance and the Boulder Link makes it so easy to turn on both the amp & preamp with one push of the remote.
Do not have phono so I cannot help on this.

I have the 1010, which is the same as the 1012 w/o the DAC. I found the phono stage to be serviceable and nothing more. The loading is non-adjustable. I lived with it for about 6 months and ultimately bought an ASR phono stage.

Gfroman ,laser cd thanks , so i might go for a adjustable standalone then probably ,but the pre and dac seem to be exxelent any idea by the way how the pre compares to a ML 326 S or Ml 32 ???

Never compared to the Levinson units.
The Boulder is a work of art + bulletproof.
Also love the DA section.
I am also a Dealer for Purist Audio Design cables, and love how the Boulder/PAD cables work together!
