Zellaton Stage Klassik Placement Guidelines

I went from Wilson to Zellaton and when Gideon set them up their footprint was almost identical spot to where the Wilson speakers sat. There was however less toe in to make full use of the wide band driver

Also he moved my listening position back by almost one foot. There were no adjustments made wrt the Zellaton footers

yes, almost parallel

So, how is it going, any early impressions? Or just need more time to get used to their sound signature?
First impression - phenomenal base:) Also, darker presentation compared to Wilson. Difference between Zellaton and WA is quite big, much bigger than the difference between Wilson and Grandinote. This is all based on just one hour of listening to digital. Obviously, need more time and good vinyl to form any sort of valid opinion.

Quick question: there is no right and left speaker in the Zellaton Klassik line?

Also, the speakers are currently placed in accordance with the equilateral triangle rule: 302 cm between the tweeters and 302 cm from ears. Is it worth trying to move them a little bit closer togerther, maybe about 5 - 7 cm, so that they will be about 200 cm apart? Please note, I cannot move my listening position, only the speakers can be moved.

Correct, only the Plural Evo has designated left right. Since your Stage’s are burned in by now, you can try to toe in a bit for perhaps a little more focus.

More toe-in:

This type of music shows the best qualities of these speakers and driver technologies. Little on the darker side though, but I think that is the Mephisto amp.
I was going to suggest that perhaps you have the system tuned for the Wilsons and need to make some other adjustments too while positioning the speakers.

Thanks, do you mean amplification or something else?

To be honest, I do not feel that the presentation is dark anymore. Especially after adding some toe-in. The purity of the voices and instruments is amazing. It is similar to Wilsons in purity, but with more texture and amazing base.

I’ve just put back my Transparent Reference SC, and I do not hear any degradation in performance, like I did with the Grandinote speakers. Maybe I’m lucky, and the specs difference between Wilsons and Zellaton is not big enough to warrant sending the cable to Transparent for re-adjustment? Any thoughts?
