Taiko Audio SGM Extreme : the Crème de la Crème

Ultimate Cyber Monday Sound Quality Special

I was at the home of cat6man last night to carefully sound quality evaluate Wilson's latest otimized build of XDMS Beta which he has been working on for a couple of weeks

The SQ is amazing uplift (again) XDMS Beta 4.08 will be released this week, and the cost is Free, but of course you do have to have an Extreme ;-)
Since I'm new to this, will this require submitting a request to customer support, or will I get a prompt in XDMS asking if I want to install the new version?

So after a few weeks of testing I wanted to report my results of comparing my Ansuz D2 switch to the Taiko switch. I've had my Ansuz switch for about a year and a half and I've tried several switches over that period of time and nothing ever came close. Maybe it was synergy with so much of my system being Ansuz/Audio Group Denmark. Having the Taiko Extreme for a couple of months before getting the Extreme switch I have been very happy with the SQ using Roon. The first thing I tried was running both switches with the Taiko switch last in the chain before the Taiko server. SQ was great with a very slight uptick in overall SQ. Removing the Ansuz from the chain proved a to be positive as the SQ became purer, as if a very slight vail had been lifted. Now listening with XDMS and just the Extreme switch I couldn't be happier. The Ansuz won't be going back in. The next step for me will be ordering a Extreme DC power and router, and I'm thinking a Farad Super10 LPS..........
